WA seafood ambassador Don Hancey took over the Food Bank WA kitchen earlier this month to teach Meal Makers (MM) a thing or two about WA’s professional seafood industry. The group also had to become chefs themselves creating a stunning smoked WA sea mullet dish. Joining him was our commercial sardine fisher Jim Mendolia - who brought with him an adventurous sea tale or two. Great to learn that the MM team were breaking records that week and making 2,500 meals for West Aussies in need.
